Yli

"Yli" questions the limits of art forms and strictly delineated 
identities.  Can we free ourselves of our roles? Can we live in this  
moment, in peace  with both the past and the future? -Niilo


Yli was project with composer Niilo Tarnainen and cembalist Aura Visala
We wanted to bring the journeys of composing the music and
stage to close connection and conversation with each other. All three of us
participated to brain storming together and each one of us also explored all the 
instruments, also in the "final" performance. At the moment it seems Yli is
quite flexible and in constant change. For me it is going together through
the moment of self restrictions, a process of daring to try to be connected.
